I love the show - it was radical in how it treated a homosexual character as A REAL HUMAN BEING, but, c’mon. The first plot line with Jody (gay) in a dress (transvestite) going for a sex change so he could be with his football player boyfriend (transexual); the three terms are not synonyms.
