Also from Jackie Gleason, “One of these days, Alice!” and “To the moon!”
Ed Sullivan: “A really big shew”.
Johnny Carson: “I did not know that.”

Ed Sullivan: “A really big shew”.
Johnny Carson: “I did not know that.”
Chandler from Friends - “I am SO not interested in that.” and “Could I BE any less interested in that?” Additional point for these - it is one of my least favourite anachronisms to see in period pieces - the writers of Friends invented these in the 90’s - people were not saying them previous to that.
Monica from Friends - “I KNOW!” (I can’t really reproduce the somewhat shrieky tone she says it in, but if you’ve watched the show, you know what I mean.)
Phoebe from Friends - “Oh no.” - sort of tailing off and disappointed/realizing something bad sounding - again, hard to describe the tone, but you know what I mean.
Fascinating.
**Rhoda: ** “Hello, this is Carlton, your doorman”
**The Brady Bunch: ** “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!”
F Troop: “I’m warning you, Dobbs!”, “WHO SAYS I’M DUMB?”, “Please, Jane, not in front of the men!”
Abbott and Costello : “HEY ABBOTT!”
From the world of cartoons:
Rocky and Bullwinkle : “Hokey Smoke!”, “Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!”
Beany and Cecil: “What The Heck!”, “DJ, you Dirty Guy!”, “Nyah-ah-ah!”
Tennessee Tuxedo: “Tennessee Tuxedo will not fail!”, “Duh, sorry, Tennessee”
Underdog: “There’s no need to fear, Underdog is here!”, “When Polly’s in trouble, I am not slow, it’s hip-hip-hip and awaaaaay I go!”, “Simon says…”
Super Chicken (& Fred): “Roger Wilcox!”, “You knew the job was dangerous when you took it!”
Looney Tunes: “What’s up, Doc?”, “You’re despicable”, many others.
And, for now, “Th-th-th-that’s all, folks!”

Michael Scott: “That’s what *she * said.”

Anyone know the origin of “That’s what she said?”
Was it just the punch line of some old joke or something?
Or did it originate with this character?
Sledge Hammer: “Trust me. I know what I’m doing.”
Columbo…“One more thing…”
Scrubs…it’s the musical cue they play when the plot it about to get preachy. They even spoofed it in one of the episodes.
I thought of the robot from “Lost in Space,” “Warning, Warning, Warning”
But didn’t most of the othe characters say “Up your nose with a rubber hose?” That wasn’t just limited to Vinnie was it? Even Kotter said it didn’t he? Or am I remembering it wrong?
I got a couple more:
South Park: (Stan) I learned something today
You killed Kenny
(Loch Ness Monster) That’ll be tree fitty
Happy Days: Sit on it
Hogan’s Hero’s: (SGT Schultz): I know nothing
SSG Schwartz
Tattoo: De plane! De plane!
LaughIn was full of them:
Dan Rowan: Look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls
Dick Martin: You bet your sweet bippy.
Arte Johnson (as a German soldier): Very intershtink, but shtupid.
Lily Tomlin as Ernestine the telephone operator: One ringy-dingy. Two ringy-dingies. . .
Lily Tomlin as Edith Ann: And that’s the twuth, pfththththth!
Flip Wilson as Geraldine: What you see is what you get!
Electric Company: HEEEEEEEY YOU GUUUUUUUUYS!!!
[QUOTE=SSG Schwartz]
Full House: (Dave Coulter) Cut! It! Out!
Stephanie: Pin a rose on your nose
D.J.: You’re such a nerdbomber

Also Stephanie: “How rude!”
Oh, another Flip Wilson one: The Devil made me do it.
The Waltons: Goodnight, Johnboy

Uncle Walter " And thats the way it is"
[QUOTE=cochrane]
Can we count “I’d buy that for a dollar!” from RoboCop?

That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread!!
Here’s another show-in-a-show catchphrase that’s a bit obscure from the short-lived Ben Stiller Show:
Skank: “Shut your stinkin’ trap!!” (uproarious laughter from studio audience)
Jerry Seinfeld: “Oh…that’s a shame…”
Kramer: “Giddyap!”
Steve Urkel: “Did I do that??”
Fonzie: “Heeeyyyyy”
Ralph Malph: “Sit on it, Potsie”
The Cheers Bar: “NORM!!!”
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: “Engage” or “Make it so”

Yeah, pretty much all of the characters said this…one time Mr. Woodman said it and it brought down the house!
