A co-worker of mine is trying to remember which TV network or movie studio had a shooting star from left to right. He is not thinking of the paramount logo with the trail of stars circling the mountain. It is a single gold star.
Reginald Weege’s vanity company Starry Night Productions had a logo with a shooting star bursting into a starry sky over Chicago, with a laugh. This appeared on Night Court. This was my first guess, but it probably ain’t it. It doesn’t go completely from left to right, and it isn’t gold.
King World’s logo does feature a star, but it doesn’t go from left to right. It ends up in the logo.
Hanna-Barbara had a star that went around in a circle. Probably isn’t it either.
Four Star had…four stars. Probably not it, either.
