“Freaks and Geeks.” I didn’t think that much of it when it was on but then some channel ran reruns of it couple of years ago, and I loved it.
And I could kick myself for not starting to watch Buffy in the first season. My PARENTS were watching it before I was, including most of the friends I sat with in the cafeteria before our first classes. I finally started watching sometime in season 2 and devotedly watched after that.

Then Survivor on the African Segment. Sorry i missed the first ones.
It seems to me that more than 1/2 the shows I’ve cared about over the years, I “joined in progress”. I’d hear about them, or notice they had a fandom, try them, like them. It really annoys me the way, in recent years, the networks cancel shows that don’t get high ratings right away. I think it often takes a while for people to hear that a show is good and try it out.
Probably my all time favorite show is Babylon 5. I tuned in to the one where Garibaldi spends most of the episode on a level (of the B5 station) that isn’t supposed to exist. I was totally hooked.
