If we are including cartoons, then I am adding the low-budget older cartoons Hercules and Rocket Robin Hood.
I can’t believe I ever * liked * these shows.

There’s also Green Acres and Petticoat Junction. The remarkable thing about Oscar Goldman, is it was a character on two different networks.
Yes, The Bionic Woman went from ABC to NBC for its third and final season.
ADDITION: Dr Rudy Wells was a semi-regular character in both series too.
Surprisingly Quantum Leap held up for me.
I remember loving it as a kid, then it was unheard of until my local ION network started playing it, and I watched it from beginning to end and I thought it held up very well.
It really started coming into its own towards the middle of the second season there.
The end is a ballbreaker
Definitely. It deserved better.
It failed miserably with me too. I got the #1 release a couple of years ago, and I gave up not even halfway through that. It’s now one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen. And to think I thought it was so good when I saw it on SoapNet!
The Carol Burnett Show
In the 70s, I watched it at 10 PM every Saturday night along with Mary Tyler Moore at 9 PM and Bob Newhart at 930 PM, followed by either Monty Python or news then Saturday Night Live.
Well, I did think Family Guy was funny once.
This. Not that I’ve seen it for a long time, but I expect the first season is still quite interesting, if you can forget the “answers” (or lack of them) we get later. I wonder if it’s even possible to create mysteries like that without slightly disappointing answers.
Flipper
F-Troop
Mothers-In-Law
Its About Time
As a kid in the 1960s, these are the staples I anticipated and loved watching. All horrible drek now, if you can find them.
I was obsessed with Dukes of Hazzard reruns when I was in high school. When it turned up again on CMT several years ago, I was excited to see it again. And then I realized it wasn’t as awesome as I thought it was way back when. Same thing happened when I tried to watch Smokey and The Bandit as an adult. It was really, really stupid. I also used to be a huge fan of Seinfeld when it was brand new- now I only catch it every now and then. It still makes me laugh, but now it really stands out to me how amoral, childish, and self centered all the characters are.
Which is a very big part of why the show is funny, really brought home in the finale. I’m one in the seeming minority that thinks it was an excellent ending. Most, if not all of the funniest scenes involve their personal failings and foibles. I know people who won’t watch Curb Your Enthusiasm because Larry David’s character is amoral, childish and self centered, but I find the show hilarious for those very reasons.
One the greatest weaknesses of Seinfeld, IME, is the fact that the shows in which George Constanza plays only a minor role are often the least funny. While he was the most self-centered and amoral of the group, his being this way was actually AMUSING. The rest of the main cast (especially the star) where annoying to the point of being unwatchable.
Try watching the series excluding the shows were George’s follies are either not the focus of attention or a significant subplot. It’s like watching a bunch of people trying way too hard to be hilarious.
I think there’s a big difference between shows you used to love and now HATE as compared to shows you used to love and don’t necessarily want to re-watch.
Saved by the Bell is a good choice, I think I saw every episode of the first few seasons but it really is embarrassingly awful.
My taste buds haven’t changed that much over the years to go from love to hate. I never liked many shows such as Saved By The Bell. However, I did like the Brady Bunch, Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley but don’t care to watch them again.
If I could re-experience watching Lost for the first time without knowing what would happen, I might enjoy it again. Better yet, somehow warn myself that “Sundown” should be considered the series finale and don’t watch anything after that.
I could finish Lost if they someone would put it in the right order.
I adored the Monkees as a kid- who didn’t - saw it again as an adult and couldn’t get through ten minutes.
I think except for Scooby Doo that goes for most of the teen shows I watched bac in the 70s.
I also find it difficult to watch The Monkees TV show. But I have found that their music remains very listenable.
Yes, I still listen to their music, it’s very feel good and tends to cheer me up.
