Tweeting yourself out of a job, part XXVIII

Lara Kollab, an internal medicine resident who lost her position at Cleveland Clinic after her anti-Semitic tweets came to light (including a boast that she would give Jews the wrong medicine), has now been banned from practicing medicine in Ohio by the state medical board.

Doc Kollab racked up quite a collection of colorful tweets about the “yahoodi”, dutifully collected and preserved (see below). After being bounced by Cleveland Clinic she was admitted to a residency program in California, but they later withdrew their offer on the grounds that she lied on her application (saying she dropped out out of her Ohio residency due to a death in the family).

The ban on licensure only involves Ohio, so who knows - she could be coming to a clinic near you.

Better check your meds carefully.

ISTR hearing about people who do incredibly stupid stuff related to their degree having their degree revoked by the granting institution. Is this a possibility in this case?

I am the Eggman. She is the Walrus.

Oh God! This is exactly the dipshit stupid insane that would get hired in a second in my state no questions asked since local politics tends to drive away medical personnel.

I wonder how she feels about Basque people

She can look forward to a long and profitable career as a medical contributor on OANN.

So she might become a…red herring?

She has a great future in national politics.

The few cases I know involve the degree being based on fraud. E.g. faked experimental results. Seems unlikely here.
