Tweety Bird : Boy or Girl?

A friend once asked me this question pertaining to the sex of Tweety Bird. Many of the people I’ve asked have claimed to have seen a female love interests for Tweety but I’m still not fully convinced either way. Can anyone please tell me the Official word from Warner Brothers?

Well, his voice sounds like a man , but with feminie tendicies. Since tweety dosen’t wear cloths and dosen’t get out to the mall … well

Tweety’s a boy. Although I don’t remember why I’m so sure. I think it has something to do with his wearing a sailor hat and having such a wonderful friendship with Sylvester. Who is a boy. And everybody knows that a guy and a girl can’t be just friends.

Tweety has beautiful eyelashes, too… and guys always get the best eyelashes.

Sucks to your assmar.

Sylvestor and Tweety friends? I always thought that Sylvestor wanted to eat Tweety. That would mean, well …

watch what you say
or they’ll be calling
you a radical,
a liberal,fanatical
a criminal…

Yeah, but for as much as they fought, deep down there was an understanding that they’d be there for each other, when the going got rough.

Feel free to ignore everything I’ve said, but please count my vote for Tweety being male.

Sucks to your assmar.

Sure, Tweety was a boy. He went gaga over a girl bird at least once. In a boy kind of way. Not to say he couldn’t have been a lesbian girl bird.

I know what I need to know

heh heh heh , I’m going to bed on that one mangeorge. thanks

Tweety = male species.

Evidence: Sylvester once tempts Tweety by painting a finger on his paw to look like a female bird, complete with bonnet. Sylvester sticks finger in nest; illusion complete. Of course the plan fails, as usual, but you already knew that, right?

Come to think of it sylvestor did speak with a lisp, does that mean that that they were … well, I digress …

Tweety would be a male based on his bright coloration. However, I have myself seen Tweety, Sylvester, and Yosemete Sam out on the town with Tinky-Winky Teletubbie.

This sig not Y2K compliant. Happy 1900.

His name is Tweety Pie.

His breed is Tweety Bird.

…and am I the only one who always wanted Sylvester to catch him?

Don’t know about Tweety, but the Roadrunner was a guy. Wile E. Coyote built a female roadrunner decoy in order to target the (I forget) Acme Brand Cannon/Slingshot/Catapult/Rocket Bomb/Electromagnet on the hopefully distracted Roadrunner.

Yes, I used to wish that just once, Sylvester would catch Tweety, that Wile E. Coyote would catch the Road Runner, and that Tom would catch Jerry. Is that wrong?

Jeannie, if I’m correct (and I’m sure that if I’m not the resident cartoon mavens will correct me), Wile E. did once catch the Road Runner, who pulled (out of nowhere, as always) a sign that said, effectively, “Now that you’ve caught me, now what?” I don’t recall the next few events (I suspect mercifully) but at the end of the cartoon they were back to chasing/being chased again.
