Agreed. There’s no joke in the first tweet at all and seemed designed solely to upset people. Poor form. But the rest of them are brilliant.

It’s the ONION. Has the Onion ever published a true story? No. And no reason to think that they suddenly started doing so.

Where is the joke when you have a direct line to 3.1 million people and you say
“BREAKING: Witnesses reporting screams and gunfire heard inside Capitol building.”
followed by
"Congress Takes Group Of Schoolchildren Hostage " with no explanation at all.

Do you actually need an explanation in order to see the satire in this?
