"Twilight Zone" from the 1980s

I think the TZ ep used the actual title “I Sing The Body Electric”. The early 80’s TV movie, which was quite good & more complete than the TZ ep, used that other unfortunate title.

My favorite 1980s TZ ep- the Truck Driver who shipped souls to Hell & found they may not deserve it, so he helps them escape.

“Why are you doing this, Mister? You could get in a lot of trouble.”

“Well, I remember in Sunday School, the teacher told a story about Jesus going to Hell between Good Friday & Easter Sunday to give souls there another chance. I figure I’m just continuing the tradition.”

I was pleased to discover Mairosu’s site particularly to learn more about “The Road Less Traveled.” I caught a few minutes once on late-night TV and was really intrigued, because it didn’t ring any bells, but I was having a hard time finding anything on the Internet more than a one-line summation.

I think he is. The original Twilight Zone stories tended to be morality plays. Good things happened to good people, and bad things happened to bad people, and there were a lot of episodes with happy or neutral endings.
