There is a person I follow on Twitter. He has not blocked me. I am trying to see if he has muted me.
I ALREADY HAVE TRIED Tweetdeck, and by that method it appears that he has not muted me. But he hasn’t responded to me in about four days, which is uncharacteristic.
Some of his other followers have liked and responded to my replies, which leads me to believe that I am not muted. Is that true? If a person mutes me, he will not see my posts and responses. But will his followers see them? Or are they completely vanished from his timeline?
Muting a post only hides them from the one who did the muting, and they still get a “This post isn’t visible because you muted the poster” listed if they scroll through the replies, which is annoying.
Yeah, I know. Yes, he has been active and has been responding to a lot of people, just not to me. I’m trying not to take it personally. Based on what I can see on Tweetdeck, I’m not muted. I’ll just have to be patient.
Yes, I do. However, I now see that Tweetdeck works only for people who are following you. This person is not one of my followers, so it won’t work. However, some of his other followers have responded to and liked some of my comments to his posts. That’s what I’m trying to find out.
I’m sorry, but that’s just not true. Tweetdeck is just a skin over the regular twitter API - one that caters for heavy users rather than casual ones - but it works just the same.
