Twitter will be shutting down its old (legacy) version on June 1st 2020. Is there any way to keep using it somehow? I assume not, but I just wanted to check. Thank you in advance.
Not if they truly shut it down. The best you could get is someone directly remaking it, which is unlikely.
I also preferred the old version that didn’t feel like it was meant for mobile, and didn’t throw in useless crap in the middle of people’s feeds, like similar people you might want to follow. It also didn’t try to hide the Tweet button by moving it where you have to scroll to see it.
Though I do admit I appreciate the font-size setting: if only they didn’t do like most apps on phones do, and think that “huge” is just what used to be the normal font size that we had back when screens were lower resolution. If they want accessibility, they need a lot more larger options.
