Ran across a neat article in the Wall Street Journal about the two Mississippi families named McCain, Senator John McCain’s relatives. One family is descended from folks who owned the plantation Teoc in Carroll County before the Civil War. The other family is descended from the slaves who lived on the plantation.
I thought it was neat that members from both families go to the same reunions. 
Another interesting thing about the McCains is that our Army National Guard training camp known as Camp McCain is named after one of Sen. McCain’s great-uncles.
Anyway, the article includes a short video of an interview with some McCains and also has one strange error in it (made me giggle).
