Two Particular Medications... Availability in Colombia

Hi, I have been receiving treatment in Ecuador from a doctor who wrote me prescriptions for two medications, Lyrica and Tramal (aka Tramadol).

I am presuming that the prescriptions from Ecuador will not be valid outside the country, and so I am looking at other options… These medications are unofficially available otc in Ecuador, so I am hoping for the same situation in Colombia; that would be easiest. So if someone could confirm that this is the case in Colombia, it would be comforting, thanks.

Since Tramal is an opiod, this topic alone could be illegal, obtaining it slyly more likely to be illegal.

Both are pain killers, Lyrica could also be used to treat epilepsy.

A few years ago I was able to buy Ambien OTC in Colombia. Just my experience.

Tramal and Lyrica are both prescription only in Colombia.
