From what I can gather from the context. /b/ refers to the 4chan boards (boards that I have never visited, but they can get mentioned here from time to time). I think what ACM is saying is that swirlface is a commonly used term over at 4chan and that it’s unlikely that a middleaged suburban soccer mom is frequenting 4chan…therefore swirlface is probably not MOSF, but rather a 4chan member and probably either a sock or someone from the snackpit.
Joey and Boss both made (possibly joking) references to swirlface being the MOSF and I figured you were of similar opinion. I guess not.
A /b/tard is someone who frequents /b/. /b/ is a section on a website called 4chan. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Swirlface is a meme that would be known to channers. Therefore I find it unlikely that the poster with the username “swirlface” is MOSF considering middle-aged housewives aren’t typical channers.
VERY VERY VERY (porn adverts, etc) NSFW LINK to Encyclopedia Dramatica’s description of the meme:
Does noone else see the problem here? It’s no wonder we produce a nation of horrid little whingers who won’t stand up for themselves when we are actively promoting snitching like this. I said earlier that I would have no sympathy if the brat got its head kicked in next time it grasses someone up. I’m going to extend this comment and say that I actively hope it happens. Maybe then he’ll think twice about running to the pigs to get someone else in serious trouble and ruin their life.
Reporting property destruction is snitching? What the hell is your problem?
I’m guessing you’re either eight years old or one of those anarchist freaks.(Not really any difference there) This is a land of laws and I don’t understand how you can think this was not a crime that should be reported.
You jump in my shit with baseless accusations, all because of your inability to parse a fairly simple three sentence dialogue, refuse to explain yourself, and I’m the one being difficult? I don’t think so.
Criminy! Being a witness to a crime is not being an informer or a stool pigeon, and telling on a classmate is not even remotely close to what this kid did. How would you suggest we prosecute crimes if witnesses never told what they saw?
WTF are you talking about? When did I “jump in your shit”? What did I accuse you of?

Maybe you missed the part where I said that I’m in total disagreement with what swirlface is advocating. I think the kid and the kid’s parents did the right thing and I think MOSF is full of shit.
[mod hat off]
I’m getting really confused by this “it” thing. Swirlface appears to use “it” with the antecedent “brat”. I seem to recall that in Middle or Old English, “brat” was a neuter noun, so I’m kind of curious if this is a northern dialect thing, like “th’” and “tha” for you.
BTW I’ll be putting the hat back on and coming back later, unless one of the other mods does first, because we seem to have a problem here.
This thread’s getting a tad too confrontational. If you want to pit someone; if you want to rat someone out, or if you want to accuse someone of ratting, do it in the forum we have in place for such purposes, otherwise known as the Pit.
Keep the infighting and backbiting out of this thread, or it’ll be closed.
First of all, this is a zombie thread from 8 years ago.
Today, my kid’s previous friend, mentioned in the OP, was picked up on B&E charges involving two residents.
This is the kid (now 19) whose mother was furious that we called the cops after the kids told us they witnessed a B&E at the local community center.
So, the mom’s attitude of not wanting to have the police involved seems to have finally come home to roost with her own son, now charged with break and enter, attempted break and enter, possession of break and enter tools, and two counts of mischief under $5000.
I predicted at the time that I may be updating this thread in the future.
Now that I’m reading all this I’ll bet that furious mom knew her kid had, unknown to you or your kid, maybe already been involved in “mischief”. Turning the other kids in , she might have thought would bring attention on her son.
