Tyra Banks' breasts

Victoria Secrets is having a bra sale and, in an effort to reach their target demographic, are advertising this on television during professional football games. So I find myself gazing longingly into the welcoming depths of Tyra Banks’ Wonderbra-clad cleavage…

Uhhh, what was my question?

Oh yes, I noticed that Ms Banks has a relatively light complexion and I was wondering if she is biracial.

Mmmmmmm…tits.

Not sure about the biracial, she is bipedal though. If that clears up things any.

definitely bi

two of them I mean. two… eyes.
big
brown
eyes

Biracial? Perhaps by race you mean parents-of-different-melanin-content? Maybe. There’s more than one race coming from Africa.

Yep. Whatever she is or wants to be or could be bi-______ about, it would be A Good Thing.

Or in the case of the thread title two very, very good things. Which would come under “BIlaterally symmetrical”

Oh, and come on already and get out of those “welcoming depths”, you’re holding up the line.

But AFAIK no one has ever made a big deal about her being “biracial”, a-la Tiger Woods; OTOH fellow model Naomi Campbell IS of known multiethnic parentage yet nobody makes a big deal about it either.

Could it be because, quite frankly, our minds tend to be occupied with other thoughts when considering Tyra…

(official bios make no mention. She could very well just have several generations of lighter-toned Afr-Ams in her background)

*Whatever she is or wants to be or could be bi-______ about, it would be A Good Thing. *

Fact: Tyra Banks and Rebecca Romijn are good friends.

Fact: In an interview last year, Romijn said she has “experimented” with other women.

Fantasy: Tyra Banks and Rebecca Romijn are really good friends.

Fantasy: And show up at my house.

  1. I gotta start watching E! more often.

  2. Thank for destroying any chance I had of rational, coherent intellectual thought this evening.

  3. No, really. Thank You!

It’s an interesting idea though - at what p0oint, rather how many generations have a particular tribe/extended family had to stay together for them to be called a race?

I mean, there are Saxons, Aryans, Semites (I think of a Jew as a follower of Moses, not as someone of a particular lineage), Aleuits, Gypsies (I forget their official name - the traveling tribes who kept getting booted out of one European country into another), Ethiopians, Egyptians, Romans, Carthaginians, Elves, Halflings, and… wait a second.

What was I talking about? Anyway, I guess that a group of at least several hundred people must stay together (geographically or/AND genetically) for several generations before you can call them a race. Hmm… I bet someone has made an exact definition somewhere… stink. Now I have to go look it up. Curse you, curiousity!

How did I get to this? breasts to skin tone to gametes all the way back to breasts! Tyra Banks… pretty lady.

Yes, they made a movie about it, it’s called Femme Fatale. You can thank me later.

Both of Tyra’s parents are black.

I hadn’t heard of her being bisexual. I’d be surprised if she were actually.

Fact: Rebecca Romijn is married to Uncle Jesse.

We can dream though.

With looks like hers, who cares if she’s biracial or not? In a diverse society like the US, it’s only natural that black people come in all sorts of skin tones, even if their parents ARE both “black”: those parents might have some European in them, or latin… similarly, a lot of white Americans might have some African blood in them without it being too visible at all.

Anyways, it doesn’t matter. Tyra’s pretty, and that’s all there’s to it.

Most African-Americans have some caucasian ancestry given how the right of blacks to say no was typically not well-respected during slavery (and even later).

When you say “caucasian” you mean white right? Not…"cahhhhhck"asian?

I done some online research on the issue of Rebecca Romijn’s supposed bisexual past. Apparently Ms Romijn was interviewed for a recent issue of Jane magazine. While I have been unable to read an actual transcript of this interview, Ms Romijn apparently discussed her sexual past, including saying that she had made love with other women while in college and that she and her husband had made love on a ride at Disneyworld. It was descriptions of this interview I was thinking of when I wrote my post earlier in this thread.

However, while this Jane interview was printed only a couple of months ago, it appears that Ms Romijn is backing off from what was printed. In subsequent interviews with other magazines, she has said she never had sex in Disneyworld nor has she ever been a bisexual. But on the other hand, Ms Romijn has not denounced Jane for printing a false interview either.

So we can conclude that: 1. Ms Romijn told a little too much truth at an interview, now regrets it, and is trying to do some damge control; 2. Jane spiced up an interview and Ms Romijn is now trying to deny what was said about her; or 3. the descriptions of the Jane interview exceeded what was actually said and Ms Romijn is now trying to clear up the confusion.

I’ve never heard any rumors about Tyra Banks having ever had a lesbian affair.

None of which incidentally ruins the fantasy for me.

Well, just because a woman has a one time lesbian encounter doesn’t necessarily make her bi.

I guess that would be the topic of a Great Debate. Or, if enough women join in with their own stories about past lesbian encounters, a Really Great Debate.

‘tyra banks’s ethnicity’ as a subject probably wouldn’t get you 1000 views – nice move.

is it ok if I steal this header for my threads?

When I was a kid, WORLD BOOK ENCYCLOPEDIA named three races: Caucasian, Mongoloid (I know…), and Negroid.

Something I read online (here?) the other day mentioned FIVE races…I guess there’s no firm answer, but how many races do you consider there to be? And how many from Africa?

I do sense a difference between Pygmies and Watusi, but I still think of them as the same race.

??

Most of the “Black” population in the Americas is ethnically of one race; their ancestors came from West Africa. However, there are at least two other races in Africa, the Pygmies and the Khoisan, who live predominantly in southern and eastern Africa. While these two races also have dark skin they have other distinct physical features that distinguish them.

Speaking from memory, I believe that the Aboriginal people of Australia are also regarded as a distinct race.

If we keep drifting off topic like this, this whole thread could end up getting profound. So let me add that model Frederique said that the two other models she’d most like to pose naked with are Rebecca Romijn and Heidi Klum.
