U.S. National Guard

I saw on the news last night that National Guard units were posted on street corners in Washington, D.C.

Does the District of Columbia have its own National Guard Units, or were these units from Maryland or Virginia? How about the other territories? Do Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands have their own National Guard units?

DC has thier own national guard units and Maryland and Virginia have also sent theirs to help. Last I heard, 34 states have activated their national guard units since Tuesday.

Puerto Rico, USVI, and Guam all have their own NG units.
