UG! Mange make tool!

Well, not really a tool, I suppose, as the thing is pretty useless. (I suppose it could be used as a fishing weight maybe.

I was on the beach the other day (yes, the beach, in England, in April! - the kids even went in the sea!) and my eye was drawn to a nicely triangular piece of stone (I think it is actually a piece of worn-down terracotta tile). I was bored, so I thought I would see if I couold make a hole in it with nothing more than what I could find around me (flint pebbles) - as you can see, it worked rather well.

There is something rather satisfying about making stone tools.

It looks vaguely naughty to me.

But then, most things do, really.

Well done.

You may want to see if you can find a local person who knows how to knap flint or somesuch. I’ve made an arrowhead, and I found it to be quite the experience.

If I were you, I would get a piece of leather cord, and wear that around my neck as a symbol of your sentience.

bury it in the ground - in a thousand years or so it will confuse the hell out of archeologists.

Oh, great. A stone-age AOL cd.

Hahhahhhahhhaahh!!!
Let me guess, the activation keyphrase is “NYUURGH-UNK”?

There’s a theory that if you toss a triangle into the sea, and come back the next day, not only will you find the triangle a few yards from where you chucked it, but it’ll be much smoother and more refined.

I never heard such nonsense

We girly-type people call the thing you made a “bead,” Mangetout. You used to be able to use 'em as currency.

Oh…my…GOD!!! It’s Keith Richard’s guitar pick! AND YOU RUINT IT!!!

Hey, Mange, if you happen to see any big, black monoliths…

How big is this tool you made?

Looks like it would make a nifty pendant if small enough. Or if it’s quite large, perhaps a candle holder?

Name your price. We must have it for our corporate logo.

Nah. If it was quite large, you could use it as an anchor.

The hole is exactly (and by complete fluke) 5mm in diameter, just the right size for an LED (could make quite an interesting object, fusion of technology and nature etc…blah blah)

OOOOHHH

A flying saucer! Hook it up, leave it in a nearby field when some UFO freaks… spotters… are gonna be about.

Or leave it in the dirt and let some archaeology peeps in to have a look…

Oh the possibilities
