I’ve heard that there are quite a number of US visitors stranded here in the UK without accomodation, waiting for a flight home; I’ve got room to put up two people in my spare room, is there a number I can call to offer my help?
I meant to say that I’m near Southampton, about an hour’s journey from the London Airports.
Regular flights have started to resume.
I don’t have a number to ring, but I know that Hounslow Council are nearest to Heathrow, and they have been providing emergency accommodation, so maybe they are a good place to start?
