Just a quick question about fat content in foods. In the UK we have a labelling system that shows the total amount of fat and the amount of saturated fat in foods.
Do these labels show the fat content of the product as supplied or is there an assumption of some cooking process in the labelled amount?
For example we had a BBQ at the weekend and had some burgers with 8g of saturated fat, during the cooking process a lot of fat came out, so did we eat 8g of saturates or less than that?
