UK IT Jobs, what's the opening salary?

I’m looking at a possible job in London as an entry level developer.
I don’t have a clue what sort of salary that would bring in… what kind of money should I expect/ask for? I know that a dollar:pound conversion of what I make in Canada would probably put me in the poor house over there :slight_smile:

Need more details, I’m afraid. Developer in what? Experience? Industry (i.e. have you experience in banking IT? retail?)

But in general terms, entry level developers start at @ £20,000 minimum in London, less out of the city. At the top end of the scale, the sky is the limit. Which is good.
