Ulnar nerve muscular innervation

Is the Ulnar nerve Wikipedia article correct about the ulnar nerve’s muscular innervation, specifically the reference to the adductor pollicis and the interossei?

Just wondering because I thought that the ulnar nerve is associated with the area of the hand near the little finger.

Thanks.

It is associated with the area of the hand near the little finger, as the image shows.

As you can see adductor pollicis goes across the palm deep in the hand. Adduction is the movement of bringing a limb or a digit in this case closer to the body, or hand in this case. So the muscle pulls the thumb next to the hand and originates from the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal and the capitate. So the deep branch of the ulnar nerve may very well travel across a couple of carpals to innervate that muscle.

The interossei of course are between all of the bones so it would definitely innervate at least some of them.

So yes, it appears to be correct.
