I remember a discussion last year on this.Could not locate the link.
This is about the amazon tribe photographed by a low flying plane.
If you search for “uncontacted tribes” you can find a bunch of threads.
Pictures in the link you provided show metal blades and cups… they had to get them from someone.
They got the metal from trade with other tribes, I’m sure. “Uncontacted” just means that they’ve not had contact with the mainstream/dominant culture, not that they have never had contact with anyone else.
This is being reported on the BBC website, so very likely to be genuine. There are several “uncontacted” tribes in the Amazon.
The pictures show a few metal goods, but they are though to have been obtained through trade with other tribes.
