Hey it’s been a couple more episodes. Last night’s was directed by Peter Weller and S King says it was one of his season favorites (according to what I read on AV Club).
It’s certainly been more interesting than the plague of the week and Big Jim’s power struggle. He’s been sheriff now for x number of days and 1) he’s still alive and 2) he hasn’t really done much. Well he did make that deal to abandon the town and just get himself and Junior out.
Not sure how the black-shirts would going to ensure “safe passage”. Do the outsiders know of a way out? Didn’t seem like it last night when they missed the root cellar. Maybe Big Jim was counting on forcing Barbie to tell him about the tunnel–again, could he not figure that out himself? he knows that’s where Barbie was last seen before his “death”.
I do hope they address (invent) the reason for not having the entire town jump off the cliff in next week’s episode.
