I just got a call while I was waiting for service on my car. But when I answered the phone I couldn’t hear anything. It took me a minute to figure this out. Coincidentally they had started my car and the Bluetooth speaker kicked in. For all I know my mechanic was talking to my boss.
Yeah that happened to my friend, she in a car behind someone who was driving her car. Her cell phone rang but when she answered it, the call went to her car. That had to be confusing.
I had this happen a few times. However, an upgrade was done to my phone’s software. Now if I’m trying to answer the handset while it’s paired with my vehicle, a window pops up on the phone asking me if I want to continue to use the handset to receive the call or if it should go through the vehicle system.
It’s much better having the option.
I wish mine had that option.
A few times I have tried to place/receive a call while in a parking lot and the a/c going. If I can talk through the phone itself, it’s much more comfortable than just talking into the air (I unconsciously tend to talk loud when using the car microphone).
