I thought the first Ungrateful Muslims album was great, but they were never really able to recapture that same energy, although they came close on “Take This Hijab and Shove It” from Caliphornia Girls.
Yeah, but they really jumped the shark with their “Death To America” LP.
They were never really able to get their groove back again after losing their drummer in a drone strike.
But their cover of the Grateful Dead’s Blues For Allah was superb.
