Ungrateful Muslims

Maybe he needs to try one of those snore-no-more gizmos they advertise on TV.

Lets all go down to the quarry and ride turtles.

Let’s all join hands and snark together!

Annnd winner.

Actually, that might not be such a bad idea!

aholé Def: variation on the French word* asswipé* (ahs-wee-pay)

I’ve seen spots reserved simply for veterans. I’ve also seen (on-post) spots reserved for gold-star families, which I personally find kind of ridiculous, but at the same time I’m not comfortable complaining about it.

Anyway, I’m technically a disabled vet but I don’t even own a car, so Mr. Ahole can have my spot if people like the OP shut up about it.

Even if he’s a Pak man?

You want Nazis? 'Cause this is how you get Nazis.

Kind of a stupid idea really from a legal pov. That sign has no teeth to it. Wounded veterans already qualify for disability permits, plus in California they receive a waiver of DMV fees.

Poor guy finally made it out of that hellish, ghost-infested maze. Let’s cut him a break.

But he ate all the cherries. Bastard.

It doesn’t need “teeth” particularly; they’re for use on private property. Business owners can allocate their parking any way they want–Expectant Mothers, Employee of the Month, whatever. After designating the actual ADA-required Handicapped spots, of course.

And no, not all combat-wounded veterans are disabled.

Clarify, please. Are you saying that they can have a car towed for being in violation of a pregnant mother restriction that’s not part of municipal code?

I’d be surprised if they could have a car towed. Towing from a business lot is usually strictly regulated, and I’ve never seen a pregnant woman sign that had the necessary legalese on it.

They’d be free to monitor the parking lot, though, and ask anybody who used a pregnant woman space to please show documentation of their pregnancy or leave. That would be intrusive and wasteful but I think it would be allowed.

I don’t know if it applies everywhere, of course, but I’ve had cars towed out of a business’ parking lot just because they weren’t customers and it was busy. I don’t think you need a sign.

If there were a sign, it would be Aries. Those guys are assholes.

next year on Survivor, the National Version, where everybody votes for who goes back to where they came from.

Native Americans are not allowed to vote

Part of the provision of the CVC code regarding disabled parking allows a person with a displayed placard to park in areas *reserved *for other purposes, whether or not they are on public property. So, if the owner tried having a car towed, and said car had a disabled placard, because it was parked in an expecting mother’s spot, he’d be totally screwed for doing it. Private proper be damned, if you invite the public on your property, you follow the state law. Period.

0i, because he has zero imagination.
