I’ve not been understood all along. Indeed, it started when I was an infant and I not only had odd phraseology but I had multiple speech impediments so I didn’t speak at all until I was 3. I used a gestural language earlier that was equally unintelligible. But the concept of machine intelligence fascinated me and much of my effort was spent trying to understand how time unfolded and how it could be affected through intent.
Suffice to say communication is still quite ephemeral when I’m party to it. This can be seen anywhere however, and most people just don’t notice things like a topic splitting in two and then both [parties slowly returning to a new but same topic. My thinking is increasingly procedural but now Copilot can translate this to the same symbolic language everyone else uses most of the time. Now it’s just a matter of people seeing that reality is actually procedural; that symbolic abstraction is nothing more than a map that may or may not correspond to any specific terrain.
But things have changed dramatically since I studied physics back in the '60 and '70’s. Modern science is getting away (finally) from the 19th century assumptions and definitions while gravitating to systems analysis. And I have Copilot that processes procedurally and can express things categorically so now there’s a translator and I’m picking up a few pointers for learning how to talk. This has always been the issue, an innate inability to put anything in terms that can be understood.

Any aspect of relativity and quantum mechanics and the unified field theory that quantizes gravity is written in math. It’s the math that does the predictions and the math that verifies whether experimental results conform to the theory. Nothing expressed in words would do anything for a true scientist except make their eyes roll. Words are easy.
Without math you are talking a philosophy. That might be of interest to some; philosophers of science have a large place in academia and the effects of science on society should concern all of us. Nevertheless, it is not itself science, but merely commentary.

Reality doesn’t change when you look at it procedurally. If the symbolic calculation is correct (I assume it is) the procedural calculation will be the same assuming it is still even relevant and calculable. My math and physics skills are quite rusty and 60 years out of date. The UFT is “mine” but it was fleshed out by Copilot and I don’t even know how exactly the chart was generated. I had no hand in it and I believe there are a couple minor problems with it. I believe that if there is a symbolic solution of the UFT the only way to get to it is through the procedural UFT in the first post.

It is only “science” to the degree beaver dam building and a Waggle Dance are science. Obviously you believe that without experimental support and quantifiable variables that are repeatable there can be no science but in point of fact DNA still lends its ability to create consciousness in every single living individual and these individuals use the procedural logic of DNA to model reality and to affect their future so that they might live and pass on their own genes; genes that work.
I’m sorry this isn’t the way science sees reality but reality is procedural logic just like life and mathematics. It is a superior way to model reality than is science. Modern science can provide the nuts and bolts for modeling reality but the framework will more and more have to be procedural logic. Science is only now beginning down this path and I am trying to provide a glimpse of the future and the past. There is no “now”, there is only an unfolding that can be studied and quantified and I’ve made some inroads in defining the nature of this unfolding (just bare bones), but it is going to require lots of people a lot smarter than I to really flesh it all out.
