And a bunch of jackasses jumped on my local newspaper’s FB post about the rally, claiming leftist violence and the like. One clown claimed “20,000 BLM and Antifas protesters against Free Speech!”. :rolleyes:
And when it came down to it, the only guy who responded to my inquiries could only cite the one woman who got dragged a bit when one of the actual Antifas shitheads tried to take her flag and she refused to let go. Yes, I condemn that and would like to see that asshole arrested, but one single incident in a crowd of anywhere from 15,000 to 30,000? Seriously? That’s less violence than you’ll see in the stands at a similar sized concert or sporting event.
Probably they are counting ‘Neo-Nazis shitting their pants’ as acts of violence.
I just heard reported that the Rev. Jerry Falwell had an interesting take on what Traitor Trump may have meant when he said there were some good people marching with the neo-Nazis. Falwell figures Trump could be privy to information not available to the wider public. Of course! :smack:
The only way there could have been good people marching with the white supremacists would be if there were federal agents among them who had infiltrated the group.

I saw today on NPR.org that some Liberty University alumni are very unhappy about Falwell’s continuing support for Trump, and are sending back their diplomas in protest. Liberty University is located about an hour from Charlottesville, in Lynchburg, VA.

Not a single word of condemnation about how neo-confederates are marching through the streets like it’s Louisiana in 1873 or how neo-Nazis are marching through the streets like it’s Berlin in 1933. Well, the “patriot rally” at Laguna Beach was yesterday and went with NO incidents according to reports.
Supposedly there were 200 “patriots” and 10,000 (exaggeration I think) commie librul pinko globalist gay jew elitist antifa terrorists.
There was also a VERY large police presence.
So, when there are no AntiFa attacks, rallies remain peaceful.
How curious.
