Just to clarify, if the protest was really about the statue, the protesters would be trying to find the broadest base of support to keep it. They would not be chanting “Blood and Soil!” and “Jews will not replace us!” They would disavow David Duke and Richard Spencer.

The videos showing white nationalists walking en masse to somewhere else and calling a black woman, “Nigger” and “Go the fuck back to Africa” is terrorism. Thispicture is terrorism.
And, on a side note, what amazing strength shown by those students standing hand to hand and surrounded by a literal torch wielding mob. I would not have expected to see a a group of white people spouting Nazi slogans and bearing torches marching in the US in the 21st century. I would also not have expected to see a president not condemn this harshly.
