Unsolicited SMS from Hello Choice New

I just received an unsolicited SMS on my phone:

Welcome to Hello Choice your new account is Active.Use your Security code (xxxxxxxx). Goto hellochoicenew.com to create an account.

Spacing, capitalization and punctuation is exactly as sent - I changed the Security code in case it has meaning. This is a big red flag to me, plus the fact they say my account is active, and then tell me how to create an account.

Of course, I didn’t sign up for an account.

Does anyone have any idea what this is? Is it a random attempt to get me to go to their web page and check it out? Or something more sinister?

Yeah..That was my third (?) flag.

I’m just hoping that it’s spam that I can ignore, as opposed to someone signed me up for something.
