I notice that most Olympic female gymnasts are in the 13-15 years old range, with the occasional 19-year-old and the rare 22-plus-year-old.
Now, here’s my unsettling question (in my defense, Mrs. Rastahomie thought it was a legitimate Q): since the types of manuevers these female gymnasts do require phenomenally powerful muscles in the groin area & such, would a gymnast who became sexually active (let’s assume she was the rare “oldie”) find her performance suffering in comparison to her younger, virginal teammates? IOW,… uh, never mind. I don’t want to put this IOW. I think you all know what I mean. :o
I take it you are asking are female virgins more able to compete in gymnastics then their non-virgin counterparts. Implying that sex somehow damages/bends something that would effect preformance. I don’t see how - not saying it’s not possible. I think a more logical answer is that the younger ones have not developed full secondary sexual characteristics which for women are geared twards childrasing not athletic performance (although chasing after a 5 yr old all day…).
Actually, I think its the other ways 'round ie, the powerful muscles of the groin area…er supplement… well, never mind. At any rate, boobs mess up your center of gravity.
I also compete in a sport that requires strong groin and abdominal muscles (dressage), and I never noticed a difference. If anything I’d say the muscles would become stronger through more, concentrated, exercise!
I dated a champion gymnast once. Her cooter could rip ones penis off by the roots, if she so chose.
IOW what would happen to her ‘strength’ when she got older? The idea of a flabby cooter….well, I’ll leave it for you to discuss.
BTW, We ‘broke it off’ (pun intended) when she went to college.
Suo Na says:

I’ve ridden hunter-jumpers–point-to-point. I must admit the first thing that came to my mind was that the HORSE’s muscles would become stronger!
Seriously, though, my younger sister competed in gymnastics for many years and while she says exercise helps every muscle, she never said whether it helped in specific floor (or mattress!) exercises.
