This guy applies to be a police dispatcher and gets polygraphed. While being polygraphed he admits having child porn on his PC, and they subsequently search his PC, arrest him and he gets 30 days for possession of child porn.
Damn. Why did he admit to it? The worse that could have happened was the machine came back as he was lying, and he just doesn’t get the job. They couldn’t get a warrant just because the machine thought he was lying. But an admission on the other hand…
I’ve had several polygraphs for jobs. And before each one, they read a disclaimer that I could be arrested for admitting to certain crimes as part of the polygraph. I wonder if he got the same disclaimer or if they just suprised his ass with some handcuffs!
Uh, I thought polygraphs aren’t admissible in court, so why use one to get evidence? And last time I checked (although maybe it’s just Pennsylvania law), Bear Nenno, you cannot require your employees to take a polygraph. I don’t know how they got around that.
