The northern half of the lower peninsula of Michigan is known to those of us in the southern half as “up north.” Up north has its own unique concept of life, the universe and everything, and today, I saw a photograph which I thought appropriately depicted the up north attitude.
The photograph is of a storefront in Cadillac. The store appears to be well-appointed and well-kept, and the sign outside says:
