The vast majority of people who would use MAID are going to have underlying conditions that would prevent them from being organ donors in the first place.

But they likely don’t know that; they don’t pay attention to anything outside their own little media bubble. So they won’t make (what they’d consider) valid accusations, unless someone in that bubble has told them to.
The Right regularly misses perfectly good honest opportunities to make accusations against their enemies in favor of accusing their opponents of fantasies. Because they simply aren’t paying attention to reality at all, just what their ideologues tell them.
I am a volunteer organ donor. My liver will probably be no use, but anything else is up for anyone.
And what is left I wish to donate to our local educational hospital, so students can have a look. Might as well be useful, once I have no use of it.
Procured organs have no monetary value. Since you can’t sell them legally(can’t account for illegal stuff, tell me if you know of an accredited hospital will take your igloo and put that “found” kidney in you).
So what does accusing Canadians of taking organs from MAID patients for use in legit patients have anything to do with the US?
