I was wondering if it’s possible to wander up to Torrey Pines Golf Course and purchase a general admission grounds ticket to watch the playoff tomorrow (Monday, June 16, 2008). The only thing I see is a $399 ticket on StubHub. Surely not that many people can take the day off or extend their vacations to watch the playoff. I’m thinking of driving down to San Diego and checking it out. I don’t really see any clear information on the US Open Golf website. Certainly it can’t cost $399 just to get a grounds ticket, right?
Maybe $399 for the whole tournament? Not sure about playoff tickets for golf.
It cost me about $100 for one day’s general admission to the President’s Cup in Montreal last year.
