I us the data from the USGS for various local rivers to check stream depth and clarity. At the locations I use it states, “No camera available”. I found the page that lists the available cameras across the US. You can zoom and see if there are any near you to look at. No streaming video, just still images.
538 cameras and none in Arkansas, Mississippi, or Louisiana.
I’m surprised the Ouachita River isn’t monitored. It’s 600 miles long. It runs through Arkansas and Louisiana.
A bunch in eastern Pennsylvania. Two on the upper Allegheny. None on the waters I spend time on.
No cameras in Tennessee.
I use the USGS mobile site a lot to keep tabs on the creek that runs through our town. The station is only a mile or two up the road.
