I’m required to get them checked every 5 years, so I set up the appointment and had them done. Then I got an email back saying my check was complete, but it didn’t accept my password and locked me out. I believe they send you the results in the mail as well. Any experience in how long that might take?
I’m not sure if I did something wrong, but the first time I used Identogo (in spring 2022,) it worked great and I got my background check results within hours, with a password that all worked fine. I got the mail letter a few days later too.
But from that point on, Identogo’s website never allowed me to register for or get another background check done again, even though I needed more background checks in 2023 and 2024 as well. I don’t know if it was a glitch or my error but it would just never allow subsequent appointments. Maybe the system is just weird.
Anyway, if they were to send you the results in mail, I think a few days is all you’ll wait.
Ugh… I was hoping I could just do it over but perhaps not. 
I mean, you could try. It might have just been my bad odd experience.
But I ended up resorting to having USPS do my fingerprinting and checks for me.
We were specifically directed to use them, though, and getting it done has a fee. I’ll call them today and see what’s up.
