Some people will question my taste, but can Tivo be programmed to record only Jan Leno’s monologue, rather than the entire 60-minute show? I’m often on travel and have no interest in the bulk of his show. I think the opening monologue portion runs about 15 minutes.

First, go to **Pick Programs to Record ** - then **Record by Time or Channel ** - then Manually Record Time/Channel.
Choose your local NBC station and what time *The Tonight Show * starts and choose **Repeating ** and Every Mon-Fri. I’d choose Channel 12, begin recording at 10:35 p.m. and end recording at 10:50 p.m.
