I have heard that if you find a wallet with ID you can just drop it in a mailbox and the post office will mail it to the address on the drivers license home address. Is this true?
The definatly did this at one point. I got a checkbook back that way…Actually, I dropped it in the mailbox with the bills I had just written checks for…ooops. The post office has a “lost in mails” department which tries to track down owners of “stuff” that ends up in the mail.
