Ironically, it gets hooker blood out of hotel room carpet no problem. YMMV

Cool! And here I thought I dreamed that Very Bad Things-based infomercial…

I am an infomercial whore. I can’t watch TV late at night because I will never go to sleep and my roommate will come in and yell at me for exlaiming, “That is a fantastic idea! I would use that every day!”
The Magic Bullet is super awesome and was my mother’s birthday present some years ago. I loved my Magic Pancake Maker until I broke it.
It made perfect pancakes. All of my As Seen On TV stuff was purchased in a store, not off of infomercials but that is where I first heard about them.

I picked up some Mighty Putty a couple of weeks ago at Target–I’m now looking around the house for stuff it can fix–which is everything!! I love it…but the only problem: the smell is like that of a cheap nail salon

Isn’t that just epoxy putty, the kind you can get at the hardware store for like 2 bucks?

Yeah, that’s what I was going to mention. Hell, a good hardware store probably has half a dozen types of putty epoxy, and maybe another half dozen liquid epoxies.
JB Weld, in particular, is really good for metal.

Is Spray On Hair a Billy Mays product? Cuz I’ve been using that stuff for years and it’s the best investment I’ve ever invested in. No one knows I’m bald!

Happy, is this you?
I got my favorite exercise piece off of an infomercial - The Bean.
Funny name, but the chair is in the shape of a bean. It really does work if you use it - I dropped 2 pant sizes in a couple of months! a previous co-worker of mine uses hers to stretch & strengthen her bad back (she was in a bad auto accident) & indicated she loves hers as well.
I find the chair easy to use.
I also bought an xxpress cooker & comes in handy when making small meals. I especially enjoy using it during the warmer months vs baking in an oven.

I love Hercules Hooks! Easy to install and reusable.

Bought mine at CVS, without the shipping fee.
Kaboom! is the best thing I’ve ever used to clean my bathroom–it works as well as the claims Mays makes. I also like the OxyClean–the little prepackaged wipes have saved an outfit or two for me!
I wondered about the Hercules Hooks–I might have to get some now!
Has anyone tried the Mighty Putty? If that stuff works like they say on TV, I’ve got a few repair jobs I could use it for!
I have bought it and it works very well. I had a broken ceramic lid to a Christmas lamp with some pieces missing and used it to fill in the holes then sanded and painted it. It came out really well. I have also had a threaded hole that was stripped and filled it with the putty and re-drilled and re-taped the hole. I plan to repair the handle of a knife I have sometime soon.
It seemed a bit on the dry side to work and a bonding/glue application as shown but I have yet to try it that way.
ETA: I have gotten the Hooks and the Kaboom as well (bought locally) and they both do very well as advertised

How have you found the quality? Because on Amazon the reviews are very negative; people say theirs leaked within days or weeks, or didn’t hold air well to begin with.

Yeah the stuff I have looks just like that and was called plumbers epoxy putty or something, and I got it at Ace Hardware for a couple of bucks.
