Uwe Boll's Big Opening!

He’ll keep getting these licenses and make awful movies until sales of the original video games suffer… I think they already have, but its hard to quantify… As an owner of the Postal 2 game, which I found a bit of a giggle, theres no way I would buy Postal 3.

But to be fair that could be the limited appeal of the game though…

I’ve heard that the German tax law Boll exploits to get funding for his movies was being repealed, which I assume would put an end to his career. Can’t remember where I heard it though, so take with a grain of salt.

I’m trying to find out exactly which four theaters are showing this film. Might be worth a road trip just for the street cred of saying “I saw Postal on opening night”.

I’d be interested in seeing the street where that would give you cred.

It’s a side street in the bad part of Berlin.

Wait, Uwe Boll’s a Cylon? That would explain a lot, actually.

Uwe Boll’s Big Opening!

(This has “straight line” written all over it, so…)

What is “His mouth”, Alex?

That’s an improvement over my interpretation. I read it as a goatse reference, which makes me want to invite Dante into the boxing ring for a little punching of my own.

Ugh, I wouldn’t wish a goatse-ing on anyone, even Uwe Boll.

Although if they ever make a goatse video game, I think Uwe would probably be in line to direct the movie version.

Possible, but how would we tell the difference? His filmmaking already resembles turning around and showing us his bowels.

Or, in many cases, a cinematic effects version of other people’s bowels.

Poor Dave Foley. I didn’t think things had gotten that bad.

Rumor is that he does full frontal.

Look at the trailer from the site linked above. The one labeled R-rated. The naughty bits are pixelated but he is showing the full monty. I assume there will be no pixelation in the “film”.

I started looking and found this on IMDB

I’m curious if this is already out on the torrents since this movie was released in October 2007 anyway. That may affect a big release here (well, besides the 20 theaters thing and the 9/11 humor and the Uwe Boll tag and …well, everything else).

Thanks for the list, looks like I’m S.O.L. for a live event. I’ll bet we see an R5 any minute though.

And ironically, mail carriers are afraid to go there.
