I… Just wanna crap all over this movie. The people I went with, including my wife, loved it. Since I am usually the critic of movies we see I kinda backed off. I wish I wouldn’t have now, because VH was utter shite.

There wasn’t a moment of decent acting in the entire film. Jackman was Wolverine without the claws…err… he had claws didn’t he? The entire movie feels like they took Underworld and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, slammed them in a blender and hit frappe. Beckensale, as much as I love her, looked like crap the whole movie. When they finally have a scene where they can show her off (i.e. the Masqurade Ball) they cover her up with Lestat…err… Dracula.

The CGI was terrible, and blotchy. The plot was non-existant. The steady cam work… what steady cam work?

I hate this movie almost as much as I hate Dead Man, and that is saying a lot.

I saw VH this weekend and I enjoyed it. I don’t critique films that much… I watch them and if I enjoy them… well, I enjoy them. If I don’t… I don’t. Not really a big deal. I thought the acting was just fine and I especially liked the Friar. He was a hoot! They couldn’t made Kate’s character a little stronger and not had her wimp out every time she got in trouble or the brides came after her. A couple of good cat fights would’ve been great.

I enjoyed it and I certainly wouldn’t discourage anyone from seeing it, that’s for sure.
