I bought a coy of The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz yesterday and when I got it home i saw the author’s name (Mordecai Richler) written on the title page, but I have no way of knowing if it is really his signature. How would I go about finding out?
The first thing I can think of is to compare it to a known Richler signature.
However, a Google search turns up nothing.
I think I would send a photocopy to the publisher’s public relations office; perhaps they can find something Richler signed such as a contract or letter or something.
