I just noticed this on my Verizon bill - “Bank account and routing numbers will be retained to enable future payments by phone or online” and then a phone number to opt out. The hell? Is this legal?
Another question - my debit card was copied somehow and used recently. Fortunately Amazon caught it on the first use and I didn’t lose anything. Could someone at Verizon have made a debit card out of my account and routing numbers?
