What happened to Carol Brady’s ex-husband, and Mike Brady’s ex-wife??

I believe the original story is that Carol was a divorcee and Mike was a widower. No further backstory was ever provided.

Both of their former spouses died. It was discussed in the pilot.

Mmm…They didn’t say flat out that Carol’s husband died. She said, “X years ago I thought it was the end of the world…” but not what “it” was. And in 1969, many women did think a divorce was the end of the world. :rolleyes:
Well, from what was indicated in the teaser for next week’s X-Files , the Bradys are gonna turn up on the show.
