Very obscure "song"--Ambrose, Just Keep Walking

Anybody remember this one, or know who the artist(?) was?

This was the theme (or something) of a song (or something) circa about 1958, which a guy I know remembers. These two people are walking through a subway and talking. She–her name might be Eloise–keeps asking him where they are going and why they are walking through a subway and he says, “Just keep walking.”

This song was played on the radio so anybody might have heard it, who was listening to the radio back in 1958. I wasn’t.

The SDMB subscription pays off yet again! Thanks.

If you want to listen, you can get streamin RealAudio of the file here. (Search within the page for ‘Ambrose Part 5’. It’s right before ‘What’s He Building?’ by Tom Waits, and I suggest you listen to that, too. 'Cause Tom Waits rocks. :))

linda laurie did Ambrose Pt 5 on Glory records in 1958. It was a narrative by a little girl about her future with a boy, but the boy kept interupting with the words “Just Keep Walking”. A classic.

I remember it. Not from 1958, but from Dr. Demento.
