Hi everyone. I work at VH1 and want to respond to some of your comments about the rebroadcast of The Concert for NYC. I have received thousands of phone calls and e-mails requesting a repeat, and have passed your great feedback along to our Programming Dept. We are, in fact, trying to work out a way to rebroadcast the concert, however no details have been announced just yet. Please understand that this is not a matter of VH1 choosing not to air the concert again, there are rights and clearance issues that must be addressed first. This was originally planned as a one-time-only special. We are not trying to intentionally frustrate our viewers. Hopefully we will be able to air the concert again, even if it’s an edited version of the original broadcast. In terms of the upcoming DVD, home video, and CD, they are all being released by Sony (not by VH1) and proceeds from the sale will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. I hope this answers some of your questions and concerns. When I have specific info on a repeat date, I will post it on this message board. Thank you.
