I’m shocked and appalled to discover by accident today that they killed off Victor Meldrew, in an OFG episode that, as far as I know, was never broadcast over here.

I don’t believe it! I do not believe it!

Oh man oh man oh man. Victor, we hardly knew ye. (Actually, we came to know ye pretty well come to think of it.)

Anyone here catch this episode? Was it good? Was it shown only in the U.K.?

The episode was aired in Finland, too. It’s a very strange way to end a comedy show like that. It was also quite strange that his widowed wife exacted revenge on the driver (well, as far as I can remember: I seem to recall that she poisoned the driver or something).

Such a strange way to end a show like that.
