The pig just sidling up to the camera made me laugh more than I would have guessed.

GoPro’s are known for having a wide field of view & distortion. I use mine in a balloon & it’s amazing the curvature of the earth from the video that I don’t see in real life. Here’s an example from their website of a cheetah closeup.
I sure as hell hope I never see a pig from that angle in real life.

It’s actually changeable. You can change the field of view in the settings.

That addresses my fisheye concern. I had imagined a camera with a fisheye attachment.
If it is a marketing gimmick for GoPro, I hope it works. I have stock in the company, not a lot because I am brokeish, but it has been killing lately.
The video was posted in February, so if it was a marketing gimmick it has already done most of its work by now I’d imagine.
