I’m looking for some online resources showing birds in flight - either as a series of frames, or as video clips - does anyone know of such a resource?
You can get hours and hours of birds in flight from stock video suppliers, but you’ll have to pay for them.
I’d check a p2p network like gnutella. I have a bunch of clips of areospace development at NASA that way.
Oh and I’d just like to state they are all to best of my knowledge filmed by NASA and therefor one would hope public domain.
Have you seen Winged Migration?
I also recommend Winged Migration, it has lots of footage of geese and whooping cranes filmed in flight from ultralights and helicopters.
